It’s been another period of intense development, and we’re excited to share the latest progress in War of Dots! This update isn’t just small tweaks – it introduces major systems, new map design, and deeper mechanics that set the stage for an even richer battlefield experience. Let’s dive in!
🌍 What’s New in This Update? 🧭 Smarter Pathfinding!
One of the most requested features has arrived – dramatically improved pathfinding. Units now move fluidly, avoiding obstacles and finding optimal routes across the map. Expect smoother formations and smarter battlefield maneuvers.
🌉 Strategic Map with a Bridge
A brand-new map has been added featuring a critical bridge crossing. This single chokepoint changes the entire flow of battles, forcing players to make tactical choices: hold the bridge at all costs, or find a way to outmaneuver your opponent!
🗺️ Elements of Strategy
We’ve started introducing strategic points on maps. Controlling these areas will soon play a major role in determining the outcome of battles – adding new layers of depth to your decisions.
🧠 Morale System in Development
The foundations of a morale mechanic are being built. In the future, morale will influence how units fight, retreat, or hold their ground under pressure. This system will make your army feel more alive and reactive to the chaos of war.
⚖️ Balance Improvements
We’ve fine-tuned combat numbers, unit strengths, and economy values to ensure that battles are both fair and exciting. Every adjustment is aimed at rewarding skillful tactics and army composition.
🔧 General Improvements
Countless small fixes and polish have been added for smoother gameplay and a more stable experience.
